AS AN ARTIST AT BLANK COLLECTIVE, YOU WILL HAVE THE INDEPENDENCE TO MANAGE YOUR OWN BUSINESS WHILE WORKING WITHIN A COLLABORATIVE AND SUPPORTIVE, HIGH END ENVIRONMENT. WE OFFER FLEXIBLE ARRANGEMENTS TAILORED TO SUIT YOUR LIFESTYLE AND PROFESSIONAL GOALS.
CONSUMABLES PROVIDED
Your day rate covers almost all consumables, including Dynamic black and white ink. Just bring your own needles, machines, and power supply. Stations are regularly restocked to ensure you have everything you need. Your station consists of a wide bed, a stool, a tool station which contains all your consumables and a bin. We also have arm rests and privacy screens if you need.

Both resident and guest artists benefit from our sponsorship with Killer Ink, extending their support directly to you during your time with us. Residents get access to our unique log in offering discounts of up to 60%, while guests get a discount code.
SOCIAL MEDIA CONTENT
We are happy to take reels and content for you, having invested in a netflix approved camera for 2025 to elevate this.
MERCH
Another investment for 2025 will continue to be utilising our unit space to create merch including a heat press which residents will be able to use also.
STUDIO ACCESS AND SUPPORT
Open Tuesday to Sunday, 10am-8pm, with our front-of-house team ready from 9:30am to help you start your day seamlessly. Take full advantage of the studio's hours and resources to maximise your productivity. You can set your own pricing as you wish, however minimum studio charge is £150 so please don’t charge less than that. Most artists charge a day rate of between £700-1000.
CONVENTION INVITATIONS
At Blank Collective, we’re well-connected with organisers of some of the best tattoo conventions across Europe. As a resident artist or friend of Blank, you’ll have the opportunity to attend these events with us, whether to work, network, or simply experience the industry at its finest. We believe in supporting our artists beyond the studio, helping you gain exposure on an international level.
OPENING HOURS
The studio is open Tuesday-Sunday from 10am-8pm but we are in the studio everyday from 9:30am to allow you to start at 10am on the dot if you want to take full advantage of the day. We would ask that you please make sure you book your day of tattooing so that you don’t run past 8pm, but if you are going to run late please let us know so we can try to make arrangements to ensure someone is able to lock up.
We politely ask that if you are going to run over that you tip out £25 an hour per person to thank the person locking up for staying late.
LOCATION
The studio is in Deptford, South East London, about a 7-8 minute walk from New Cross station on the London Overground and 10 minutes from Deptford Station on the DLR. The studio is located on the ground floor and is wheelchair accessible.

PART TIME RESIDENT ARTIST
Prefer an ad-hoc schedule? Work on a day rate of £150 which includes pretty much everything other than needles, coloured inks, machines and power supplies. Perfect for those who value flexibility while still accessing a professional high end studio environment.
ROTATING RESIDENT ARTIST
Join us one week per month, providing flexibility for artists balancing travel, part-time work, or expanding their reach across multiple studios. We offer weekly station rent for £650 per week*.

FULL TIME RESIDENT ARTIST
Enjoy consistent access to your own dedicated station, allowing you to focus on building your clientele and artistic growth in a long-term, supportive setting. Ideal for busy artists seeking stability. We offer monthly station rent at £2000 per month.* You will have access to your designated station during all business hours each month.

DAILY EXPECTATIONS
We ask that you please keep your station clean and tidy, we maintain a very high level of hygiene and request that you work in line with this. If you feel like you need extra training in cross contamination we would be happy to help.
You are responsible for your own bookings and diary management but if we have an enquiry that we think would suit your style we will pass it on to you. We ask that you please turn up slightly before the time of your appointments so you have time to set up and so your clients aren’t waiting for you before you have arrived.
If any ink is dropped on the floor please wipe it up. We like to go above and beyond for you and your clients so please treat the studio with the same respect. We have a biohazard clean up kit under the sink and cavicide wipes and spray dotted around the studio
Maintaining the relaxed, family vibe that we all love is very important to us. The creative energy we get just by being here together, even on quieter days. You are always welcome to pop by to hang out, draw, or do admin, even on days off.

We will promote you with one feed post a few weeks before your guest spot. If you have some spaces to fill and require another post closer to the time please let us know. We will also repost stories.
You are welcome to send specific images you’d like us to post, otherwise we will take them directly from your instagram profile.
Please let us know if you won’t be working on any of your scheduled days so we can update the calendar accordingly. We need as much time to try to fill the bed as possible. Please only book in the days you plan on working, not including travel days. We expect you to turn up to your pre booked days as this takes away the space for someone else. We appreciate your mutual understanding and respect.
